Privacy policy

Classroom Scribe Delivery is a private teacher workflow for an authorised Google account. It has no public or student-account registration.

Google access and use

The connection verifies the account email and requests only https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. It creates and checks a private output folder, uploads completed MP4s, verifies file identity and sharing, and returns Drive links. It does not request access to all Drive files, Gmail or student accounts.

Storage and sharing

Google client configuration and access/refresh credentials are stored locally in private files excluded from source control, logs and packages. Local media and delivery records are also retained. Saving a video uploads its original MP4 to the account’s private Classroom Scribe Videos folder; preview-only requests do not upload. Transcripts remain in the conversational workspace.

Google data is used only for this delivery workflow. It is not sold, used for advertising or used to train general-purpose AI models. Planning and narration may use selected AI services separately; Google delivery credentials are not supplied to those services. The app does not make videos public.

Retention, deletion and disconnection

Media and records are retained until manually deleted. Cloud copies can be deleted through Google Drive; local copies and records must be deleted separately. The app does not silently recreate deleted or altered outputs.

Disconnection removes local OAuth credentials while preserving videos, delivery records and folder identity. Google access can also be revoked through the account’s third-party connections. Neither action deletes videos. Reconnection requires Google sign-in and consent.

This website

These pages have no analytics or tracking scripts. The hosting provider may process ordinary network request information to serve and protect them. The app’s support contact is shown on its Google consent screen.
